11. Irregular Verbs: Andare & Fare — Exhaustive Guide

Two of the most frequently used verbs in everyday Italian are andare (to go) and fare (to do / to make). Both have highly irregular present tense conjugations that must be practiced until automatic.

Andare (To Go)

Prepositions after ANDARE (A vs. IN):

Andare A + City / Exact point: vado a Roma; andiamo a scuola; va al cinema; vanno a letto.
