To ask questions in Italian, you can either raise your voice intonation at the end of a statement, or use an interrogative word at the beginning of the sentence.
In Italian, you do NOT use auxiliary words like English "do / does". Simply place the question word first, followed by the verb, and then the subject: "Dove lavora Marco?"(Where does Marco work? — literally: "Where works Marco?").
Which question word means "Who"?
