In Italian, to express how long you have been doing something that is STILL ongoing, you use the Present Tense + "da" + the duration. Do not use the past tense like in English!

Reflexive Verbs (I Verbi Riflessivi)
Reflexive verbs show that the subject is performing the action on themselves. They end in "-si" in the infinitive (chiamarsi = to call oneself). In the present tense, you must use the reflexive pronouns (mi, ti, si, ci, vi, si).
